Germany Pledges €20 Million More in Aid to Sudan Amid Ongoing Crisis

Officials said the new package is aimed at supporting emergency relief efforts as Sudan continues to face a severe humanitarian crisis driven by ongoing conflict and widespread displacement.

The funding will reportedly be channelled through humanitarian partners working on food security, healthcare, and basic services for affected populations, many of whom are facing acute shortages of essential supplies.

Berlin also indicated that additional financial support is under review, depending on evolving conditions on the ground and the capacity of aid organizations to deliver assistance effectively.

The announcement comes as international agencies continue to warn that Sudan’s crisis remains one of the world’s most serious humanitarian emergencies, with millions of people in need of urgent support.
