Authorities said the arrests followed targeted enforcement operations aimed at addressing violations such as irregular entry, expired permits, and breaches of residency regulations.

Officials confirmed that those cleared for repatriation will be returned to their countries of origin after due administrative processes, while others remain under investigation.

The agency reiterated its commitment to enforcing immigration laws and maintaining national security, adding that operations against irregular migration will continue across the state.

The development reflects ongoing efforts by Nigerian authorities to strengthen border control and ensure compliance with immigration regulations in the country’s commercial capital.
