Anthony Joshua Secures Victory in Comeback Bout After Accident
British-Nigerian heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua returned to winning form with a knockout victory over Kristian Prenga in their bout held at the Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia. The contest marked Joshua’s first appearance since his involvement in a road accident in December last year.

Despite a difficult start in which he was knocked down twice in the opening round, Joshua recovered to dominate the second round. He responded with a series of powerful punches, eventually stopping Prenga with a decisive blow to secure the win.
The result brings Joshua’s professional record to 30 victories from 34 fights, with the majority of his wins coming by knockout. Prenga, on the other hand, recorded only the second defeat of his career.
Joshua’s performance demonstrated resilience after early setbacks in the fight, as he quickly regained control and prevented his opponent from mounting further offence in the second round. The victory also strengthens expectations of a potential high-profile clash with fellow British heavyweight Tyson Fury, which is anticipated to take place later in the year.
