Dangote, CNN Enter Multi-Year Partnership to Promote African Businesses
Dangote Industries Limited and CNN International Commercial have entered into a multi-year global partnership aimed at highlighting African businesses, innovation and industrial development on the international stage.

A key part of the partnership is the sponsorship of Africa Inc., a new half-hour programme on CNN International that will be hosted by Adefemi Akinsanya. The programme will examine the growth of African companies and their efforts to compete in international markets, covering industries including technology, manufacturing, hospitality and entertainment.
Africa Inc. is scheduled to premiere on CNN International on August 29, with four additional episodes expected to air through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. The partnership will also feature bi-monthly Africa Inc. segments alongside digital and social media content.
The collaboration will further include Africa First, a series of branded content produced by CNN’s in-house studio, Create. The series will explore Africa’s industrialisation, energy development and economic transformation, using documentaries, data-driven articles and social media materials.
The campaign will be distributed across CNN International, CNN.com, CNN Arabic and CNN Business platforms, with selected content also appearing on CNN’s United States television and digital platforms.
Beyond television and digital programming, Dangote Industries will sponsor three editions of CNN’s Global Perspectives events over the next 12 months, extending the partnership into international business and policy discussions.
The collaboration forms part of Dangote Industries’ broader global branding strategy and will provide the company with an international platform to highlight its industrial expansion and long-term economic development plans.
CNN International Commercial and Dangote Industries said the partnership is intended to broaden global attention to African entrepreneurship and the continent’s growing contribution to international commerce, innovation and industrial development.
