First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Visits Kogi to Drive Empowerment, Inspect Key Projects
Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is undertaking an official visit to Kogi State to lead a series of programmes focused on social welfare and development.

As part of her itinerary, she is expected to launch an initiative aimed at supporting women with financial aid and tools to enhance their economic activities. The visit will also feature the commissioning of major state projects, including the Kogi State Treasury House and facilities tied to the state’s health insurance scheme.
In addition, the First Lady will assess the progress of the National Community Food Bank Project designated for the North Central region, a move aimed at strengthening food security.
She is scheduled to be received in Lokoja by Governor Usman Ododo, alongside senior government officials, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders.
The visit is seen as part of broader efforts to strengthen cooperation between the federal and state governments while promoting initiatives in empowerment, infrastructure, and welfare.
